As a long time player of MMORPG games, the original Moonreaver himself (Yeah that’s me) has seen many worlds and incarnations.  I’ve loved thinking of his own story-line and how it would play out. Pretty soon I won’t have to imagine it, i’ll get to live it! Ok well still in my imagination but this time i’ll actually get to progress through his story-line in a game itself!

If you’ve ever wanted this kind of experience then I am fairly certain you’ll find it with Guild Wars 2.  I know there are other games touting personal story-lines, like Star Wars: The Old Republic, but from what I have seen of the game, it still leaves a lot to be desired.  If you seek a fun gaming experience, with great RPG aspects as well as the MMO environment, Guild Wars 2 is looking to offer so much that the MMO genre has been lacking. It takes, in my opinion at least, so many awesome things from other games (as well as the original Guild Wars) and puts them all together in a form that should please a wide range of gamers out there. Especially when there is no subscription fee!

So if you haven’t been to the Guild Wars 2 website to check it out, DO IT! They are currently in the second round of Beta Testing, so it is bound to come out soon. One of their newest posts is specifically on the Personal Story so check it out here!

As an update/refresher, here is the gathered information on the different professions one can play in Guild Wars 2. With still one profession yet unannounced, there will be plenty of choices for people to pick from to suit their own personal playing style.

Guild Wars 2 Professions

I know my personal favorite profession in the first Guild Wars was the Ranger… but I am certain i’ll have to try out a number of professions before I can pick a main character. With so many different choices in the game, I cannot wait to for its release! Take a look at the different classes available and decide for yourself which path shall you take?

Even though they have no real release date yet, the buzz on the intranetz is certainly about Guild Wars 2 and the only other MMO that seems to be worth mentioning these days, Star Wars: The Old Republic.  While I do not plan to play SW: TOR myself, the evolution of MMORPG’s have come along way from the days of Everquest. While I certainly remember fondly the days of exploring Luclin and the Planes of Fear with my guildmates, I definitely look forward exploring the various wonders that Guild Wars 2 will surely provide.

The Honorable Few is a guild started back in the days of yore when Everquest ruled the internet. Based on family and friendship and doing what is right, our members have wandered throughout the various MMO games that have emerged since EQ’s hayday.

Here is a gathering point for all things THF. Here will be the home for the weary traveler. Here will be the home of one of the best group of gamers out there.
